I've done a bit of work on climate change risk with a range of government and private industry organisations. Two things stand out which I have written about on this blog at length before:
- the high level of concern about future unknown climate related risks
- the high level of ignorance about current known climate related risks
I encourage organisations to begin looking at climate change risk using the present as the datum point. The Queensland and Victorian floods provide a good example.
